Shimano decided to combine these two categories to create the Shimano GRX Di2 RD-RX815 Rear Derailleur. It is a gravel-specific rear derailleur that shifts electronically. It has an adjustable chain stabilizer that prevents chain slapping and drops and gravel-tuned clutch tension. It has silent and uninterrupted rear shifting on rough terrain and smooth and reliable mixed surface shifting.
